Rhonda Barclay applies a comprehensive wealth management approach to coordinate the many facets of each individual financial situation. She has provided financial advice to clients since passing her Series 7 exam in 1989, working first in a small regional firm and then two national publicly-traded firm before affiliating with LPL in 2009. A licensed insurance agent as well as an investment advisor, she tailors tax-aware strategies for clients who want to grow and preserve wealth, derive lifetime income from it, and transfer it to their children and grandchildren.

Rhonda and Ann MacNaughton worked together for five years in the River Oaks branch of a large national brokerage firm. After ten years working as a financial advisor for clients at a large national bank, Rhonda had exited the banking sector by joining that branch office the year before Ann arrived. After a large national bank bought that brokerage firm during the 2008-2009 Global Financial Crisis, Rhonda transferred her licenses to LPL Financial in 2009 for access to LPL’s independent platform.

Rhonda graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics after attending Houston’s St. John’s School and graduating from Mirabeau B. Lamar High School. She holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses, and is registered to transact securities business in CO, FL, SC, and TX. She is a licensed Texas General Lines insurance agent. Active in the Houston chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and numerous other Houston area community service organizations, Rhonda resides in Houston with her husband Byron, a proud mother to her three adult children.
